Summary

My leisure is largely centered toward my activities with the martial arts. I spend 3 to 4 days a week at the martial arts center. It is a serious leisure pursuit and it presents a challenege for me. I continue to pursue this leisure endevor, because of the fact I want to increase my skill level in this paticular activity, the challenge of increasing my skill level in this leisure pursuit is what makes it exciting for me. I am pleased with my leisure pursuits, someone from the outside might believe that my leisure experiences are limited, someone from an outside perspective may believe that I need to pursue a more varied amount of leisure experiences. However I am pleased with my leisure experiences and my choices. My barriers to experiencing a more varied amount of leisure experiences is possibly a lack of education on what other leisure pursuits i may enjoy.

last weekend

this past weekend i went to my MMA(mixed martial arts) class, we worked on some kicks, body kicks to be specific, theres usually a theme for each class, the conditioning was tough, we did some suicides, then the very same day i went to my friends house, sand had dinner at his house, his friends kid was acting like a kid, which got on my nerves, i would've prefered a more relaxed evening, but it was cool

This past weekend i went to an MMA(mixed martial arts) event at the Cluade Robillard Center. It was a fun and interesting experience, I went with my friend, I think we both enjoyed ourselves, but found some of the fights were boring, I wasn't always impressed with the skill level of all of the fighters. However the event is the minor leagues in a sense of the sport of mixed martial arts. I love the sport that's what drew me to attend the event and i'm glad I attended.
Yesterday i had my jiu jitsu class, although we did some wrestling, so not sure if it's really a jiu jitsu class. We did kimura from the half guard, finishing kimura from the half guard, which was interesting, we've done these particular techniques before, but it's always good to practice, you can never get enough practice. David L'oiseaux came before the class started and people were congradualting him for his victory in his last fight, I congradualted him as well. He knocked out his opponent in the 5th round with a broken coller bone, so some congradualations are deserved. It was an enjoyable class, i was a little sore after the class, and got a little man handled, but it's a learning experience, and makes you better in the long run.
